The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCS), in strict compliance with Law No. 141-2019, known as the "Transparency and Expedited Procedure for Access to Public Information Act", and with the public policy of the Government of Puerto Rico, facilitates access to and dissemination of public information.

Law No. 141-2019 establishes a uniform procedure for obtaining public information generated of held by government entities. To this end, the statute empowers each agency to designate at least three (3) public employees who will serve as Information Officers and will be responsible for receiving information requests, processing them, and facilitating access to documents within the established timeframe.

Any person interested in submitting a request for public information of documentation, pursuant to Law No. 141-2019, must submit their request in writing to de designated Information Officers at the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCS). To facilite the process of requesting information or documentation, the following email address has been enabled: leytransparencia@ocs.pr.gov, through which such requests may be submitted.
